Kirk Covington “The Singles” release, is the blue-eyed soul singer’s 10 biggest radio hits and two bonus tracks. An incredible collection of funky grooves, catchy hooks and of course, the sound of the “Devil Horns” (part of Covington’s writing voice). This unbelievable run of radio hits started with his first single from the “CPT. Kirk and the Devil Horns” album in 2020, entitled “Always The Same”. This track climbed to #67 on CHR Radio charts and set the path for the next 12 “singles” releases. World-Renown record producer Chaka Blackmon (Christina Aguilera, Will Smith) took the song and created the “Always The Same-Chaka Blackmon Remix” single, that broke to #49 on Billboard’s AC charts. “Meet Me in the Middle” was Kirk’s first duet release and it featured Cindy Herron from the legendary supergroup “En Vogue”, this funky back and forth from Kirk and Cindy, jumped to #25 on the AC Billboard charts. The next 8 singles seemed unstoppable on the Billboard AC Charts, “All the Way” (#24), “Early in the Morning” (#23), “I Want You to Stay” (#19), “Seems Like the Other Day” (#27), “Shake” (#26). “Act that Way” a duet with Vocal star Amy Keys, pushed into the Top20 again on Billboard. A second cover of the Brenton Wood classic “Gimme Lil Sign”, peaked at #22. Finally, the top position of #12 on Billboard AC was “Sunshine” , produced by Multi-Platinum Artist/Producer Russ Miller. “The Singles” celebrates this incredible run of Kirk’s success from 2020-2026 and opens the door for so much more to come!
