Two Become One: CD

One of the newest artists (certainly not new to the industry, but new to R.M.I. Records) is legendary percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo! Gio’s career (as you may know) started at the age of 16 and quickly accelerated to the top of his field by the age of 19 playing with Eddie Palmieri. After that, nothing short of a historical career has ensued.

Hundreds of albums, tours and movies with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Gloria Estefan and even residing as a member of Mick Hart’s “Planet Drum”, has led Gio to being revered as one of the leading “Congueros” in history. This is Gio’s 6th solo album and his first since 1999 and a series of serious health issues that almost sidelined his playing career. Russ Miller has been one of the most internationally recognizable names in drumming, for the past two decades.  As a recording artist, he has played on over five-hundred albums, selling more than 30 million copies.  Russ’ movie credits number over 150 and have earned more than a Billion dollars at the box office. This is Russ’ 7th release on R.M.I. Records and his first with Giovanni as a collaboration. Included in this mailing, is the Audio CD and packaging of the “Two Become One” project. A collaboration between these two incredible artists of original and two, newly arranged Pop vocal standards. Recorded in the Legendary Studio A at Criteria Recording in Miami and engineered by world class tracking and mix engineer Brad Haehnel, this entire project was captured in HD 32/96khz and mixed in 5.1 DTS digital surround. A Surround HD Audio CD and Vinyl versions are being released soon as well!
